John Allison
John is the Festival Director for the Saskatoon Fantastic Film Festival (SFFF) as well as a Feature and Short Film Programmer for the festival. Prior to founding the SFFF in 2009, John wrote about movies and the movie going experience for most of a decade on his own movie site Film Grotto, as well as the movie blogs Movie Patron and Row Three. John is a dedicated film fan who loves movies with strong stories and interesting characters.
Ron Leach
Ron Leach is a noted Casting Director, Producer, award-winning Director and Acting Coach. He is one of Canada's leading casting directors, casting independent film, television, theatre and commercials for clients as diverse as Hallmark, CTV, Anchor Bay, CBS, Paramount, Global Television, and many more.
Justin McConnell
Justin runs Toronto-based production/post company UNSTABLE GROUND, is the founder of the monthly horror short-film festival LITTLE TERRORS (which he co-runs with Rue Morgue Magazine), a Programmer for TORONTO AFTER DARK FILM FESTIVAL, and is an acquisitions rep for two Canadian distribution companies.
Most notably, Justin has multiple feature films in distribution as director and/or producer: the acclaimed festival favorite ‘Lifechanger’ (Netflix/Uncork’d/Raven Banner/Frightfest/Signature), the single-take thriller ‘Broken Mile’ (Gravitas Ventures), the anthologies ‘Minutes Past Midnight’, ‘Galaxy of Horrors’ and ‘Blood Sweat and Terrors’, the horror/thriller ‘The Collapsed’ (Anchor Bay/Lions Gate), the counter-culture documentary ‘Skull World’ (available worldwide), the crime drama ‘Cold Deck’ (producer only), the dark comedy ‘Junkie’ (producer only), and the documentary ‘Working Class Rock Star’. His co-written/co-produced project ‘Mark of Kane’ will begin shooting in Australia late 2019.
